Abdelrahman Abdallah, known as Shangal Hassan, is a Sudanese artist and sculptor, currently an assistant professor at the Sudan University of Science and Technology. A graduate of 1985, he has exhibited internationally and won first prize for the Human Rights Memorial Monument. He focuses on reviving Meroitic heritage and leads academic art at the Shibir Nilotic Gallery in Berlin.
